I cook in your home, on your night, for the people you actually want at your table. Real French technique, the kind I was taught — but relaxed. No tasting menu printed in calligraphy. Just very good food, served properly, in a setting that feels like yours.

About

A few words
about me.

I'm Alex. I trained at CFA d'Évry in France, and did my apprenticeship at La Ferme de Contin — an old-school French restaurant where you learn the long way, the right way. No shortcuts.

Then I moved to New York. A few years cooking in a family-run French restaurant, and on the side, private duty as personal chef for the French Ambassador to New York. After that, kitchens around the country — Wellfleet, Vail Village, and Palm Beach, where I most recently worked as Sous Chef at Le Bilboquet.

Now I'm fully focused on Chez Alex. One chef, one table, one night at a time — and that's exactly how I want it.

Three ways to book me.

Just the Two of You

For two · Couples only

A multi-course dinner, candle-lit, taking its time. Good for anniversaries, birthdays, or any night that deserves more than takeout. Couples only — no friends, no kids. That's the whole point of this one.

Dinner at Home

10 to 20 guests · In your home

Ten to twenty guests, in your dining room. Full menu, plated in your kitchen, served at the table. I bring everything I need — you bring the people.

Larger Events

Up to 150 guests · On-site

Up to 150 guests. Receptions, corporate evenings, private gatherings. Restaurant-level food, scaled properly — not catering. Done with a real team behind me.
